Istanbul is a Hot Spot for Tourists

The Turkish city of Istanbul is rich in history, having been home to three empires: the Islamic Ottoman, Christian Byzantine, and Roman. This blended cultural heritage continues to influence Istanbul to the present day, as elements of all three of these empires can be seen in various religious façades and tourist attractions around the city. Visitor reviews support the popularity of this destination. There is an abundance of interesting things to do, but here are the five activities that visitors find most intriguing:

Riding a Boat on the Bosphorus

Taking a ride on this renowned river allows travelers to see some extraordinary sites. Passengers will see old-style Ottoman homes, ports, fancy suspended bridges, palaces and other interesting buildings. Connecting the city across the two continents of Europe and Asia, the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and Bosphorus Bridge can be seen during a boat ride.

Visiting the Topikapi Palace Museum

This museum was commissioned in 1459 by Mehmed II, the Ottoman Emperor responsible for the conquest of the city (then Constantinople) and the end of the Byzantine era. The building is supremely elegant, with lavish courtyards, extravagantly designed rooms, terraces, fountains and stylish gateways. Visiting this palace provides a glimpse into the opulent ways in which these sultans lived and Mehmed's lofty vision for his new empire.

Taking a Trip to the Blue Mosque

The Blue Mosque (formally known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque) is one of the largest structures of its kind in Istanbul, and derives its name from the intricate blue and white tiles that are arranged in elegant patterns in its interior. Built during the Ottoman Empire in the early 17th century, the mosque is still open for worship today and has also become a much-frequented attraction. Those who decide to visit this mosque are advised to cover their heads with a cap or scarf out of respect for tradition.

Stopping By the Hagia Sophia

Hagia Sophia in Istanbul

The Hagia Sophia was completed for the first time in 537, after which it was restored and repaired many time over the course of its history due to earthquakes, fires, disrepair, and other issues. From its construction until Mehmed II conquered the city in 1453, the Hagia Sofia was used as a church. Afterwards, it was converted to a mosque and was used as such until it was converted again, this time into a museum, in 1935. The famous dome of the structure is unquestionably the most notable of its many attractions, but the mosaics, marble pillars, and gates are also well worth a look.

Shopping At Istanbul's Grand Bazaar

At the bazaar --which has existed since just after the Ottoman conquest of the city-- travelers are sure to find a wide variety of treasures, with lots of hand-crafted ceramics, hookahs, bedspreads, carpets, clothing, spices, teas and a wide variety of other souvenirs. Though the bazaar may seem like a bundle of noise and confusion, vendors are friendly and will engage their shoppers in conversation.

Holiday Systems International ratings demonstrate that Istanbul is one of the hottest tourist destinations on the planet. With a rich history and lots of fabulous sights to see, Istanbul allows visitors to enjoy the experience of this unique city and its culture.

The 5 Best Things to Do at Holiday Systems International Resorts

A trip to a resort is different from other types of vacations in that they are intended to help visitors get away from it all -- and they succeed. The locations are typically very far removed from the hustle and bustle of daily life and while day trips to nearby cities and attractions are sometimes a possibility, many people prefer to enjoy the amenities the resorts themselves have to offer.

So, what are some of the best things to do at a resort location?

Enjoy the benefits of the sun

For travelers escaping from the wintertime blues, few things are more satisfying than the feel of the sun's warmth on their skins. Sunshine is not only relaxing, but it can even help fight depression. The body is able to synthesize its own vitamin D from the sunlight but since many people rarely get any exposure during the winter months, they often end up sick and depressed. Many health professionals have begun to begun to attribute seasonal affective disorder with vitamin D deficiencies, as well. While the sun is great for physical and mental health, it's important not to forget the sunblock, though -- nobody wants to take sunburn home as a resort souvenir.

Get in the water and play

Resorts have magnificent pools, and many have their own secluded stretches of ocean or lake as well. Often, oceanside resorts will have organized water sport programs that include surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, and even snorkeling or scuba diving.

Eat a delicious meal

Resorts are known for their fabulous menus. Guests will have the opportunity to sample dishes they may never get to taste at home, often created by high-profile chefs and including new spins on local flavors. Complement the meal by pairing it with a nice glass of wine or a fabulous mixed drink.

Book a spa treatment

These days, many resorts have their own spas where guests can indulge in beauty or health treatments. Many resort spas feature holistic therapies that integrate traditional Western and alternative practices. There are few better ways to relax than to get a massage with the ocean waves crashing in the background and the smell of the salt air wafting through.

See the nearby town

Resort concierges are happy to book day trips to nearby towns and attractions for travelers who want to relax, but who also want to learn a little about the region that they're visiting. These trips also give visitors the opportunity to shop for souvenirs.

HSI can help travelers find the perfect place to unwind and relax from the stress of winter at one of the company's sumptuous resort locations. Holiday Systems International resorts offer all of the luxury and comfort that visitors are looking for, with more extras at a better price. Those that stay at them are guaranteed an experience that they will never forget!

Deciphering Holiday Systems International Ratings from the BBB

When a prospective client examines the value of working with a new company, one of the most reliable resources to consider is the Better Business Bureau. Holiday Systems International ratings with the BBB provide a clear picture of the quality of experience to be expected. It's helpful to understand how the BBB formulates its ratings so that an appropriate interpretation can be made in considering doing business with HSI.

Entities are rated by the Better Business Bureau on a lettered grading scale with A+ being the highest possible grade and F being the lowest. A variety of elements contribute to the grades assigned. One of the most important factors is a company's complaint history with the organization. The BBB considers the severity of issues reported, the efforts and timeliness of a business in responding to complaints, and the evidence or lack of a good faith effort in resolving the problem. A history of complaints and results is displayed on the BBB website for each company rated.

Additional scoring components include the type of company, the time in business, and other background information. Licensing status and advertising practices also contribute to BBB ratings. Each of 16 specific ratings categories involves a numerical score, and the overall score is used to determine the letter grade assigned to a business. Companies can be accredited by the Better Business Bureau, paying a fee to go through a stringent evaluation by the organization.

Holiday Systems International ratings from the Better Business Bureau are consistently high. With a current A rating, the company has satisfactorily resolved customer issues according to BBB standards. Factors contributing to this high rating have included the length of time that HSI has conducted business, the quality of responses to concerns, and the volume of complaints based on the size of the company. HSI's participation in the accreditation process also contributes to its high rankings with the BBB.

Why Holiday Systems Reviews Its Procedures Regularly

Constant internal review and improvement is the mark of a company that’s dedicated to growing and dedicated to its customer base. While it’s also important to have confidence in the product or service currently provided, it’s hazardous to not recognize that there are likely millions of minor tweaks that could bring the standard operating procedures a few precious steps closer to perfection. Holiday Systems reviews its procedures on a near-constant basis, based largely on feedback generated from their customers, clients and employees. If a consideration has been overlooked, the issue can be addressed on a global spectrum within minutes. This is because HSI utilizes a unique internet-based business model. Problems can be quickly passed from the bottom up, from customer to management, and solutions can be implemented immediately from the top down.

So, not only is HSI one of the leading vacation and technology companies in the world, but they're also one of the smartest -- utilizing every tool at their disposal to ensure customer satisfaction is maximized. When a client travels with similar companies in the industry, they have no guarantee that their comments, suggestions or complaints are ever addressed. This keeps HSI one step ahead of potential competitors  and encourages the customer to choose a leader in the industry that values their opinions. Because Holiday Systems reviews such comments immediately, the customer may see their comments addressed before the end of their trip.

Holiday Systems International understands the importance of client satisfaction – because in running a business, there's really no goal more important than that. The team at HSI is patient, understanding, and more than willing to listen to accolades and complaints alike. When things go wrong, as they sometimes do, rest assured Holiday Systems will review their procedures to find the flaw and fix it. That's great customer service, and that's what Holiday Systems International prides itself on.

Holidaysystems.com Makes Travel Convenient and Stress-Free

Traveling shouldn't cause people stress, but it's natural for stress to accompany travel plans. It takes a good deal of work to arrange different bookings, find affordable lodgings, and make sure all the essentials are packed. Given the fact that vacation planning is already somewhat harrowing, it only makes sense to reduce one's overall level of mental worry by doing as much as possible from the comfort of home.

Holidaysystems.com allows travelers to reduce the amount of running around they do in order to prepare for their trips. By allowing people to book every last aspect online before setting out for adventure, the site makes it easy to plan without feeling like all the work planning involves really isn't worth it. In the long run, this makes the overall trip experience better.

One of the other advantages of planning and booking trips and services online is that doing so reduces other kinds of travel stress. The expenses associated with travel are enough to make anyone lose a few hours of sleep, but by booking in advance online, it's easier to budget. Online booking allows people to keep their bank account spreadsheets and financial constraints close at hand so that they don't lose sight of how much spending leeway they've actually got and end up in the red by overdoing things.

Although it is indeed possible to get all the pre-trip planning and booking done by visiting a conventional agent, it's not as much fun. Agents often try to steer consumers towards whatever trips they'll make the most money off of selling. This adds a whole new level of stress that most travelers really don't want or need to deal with. All the unrelated material in most agent offices can makes it hard to focus on one's travel goals.

Planning vacations online using the great comprehensive resources at Holidaysystems.com, on the other hand, lets travelers take care of business without drawing things out. It's the best way to start relaxing before one's vacation even begins.

Holiday Systems International Wins Coveted Freedom Award

The Department of Defense's coveted Freedom Award is an accolade the DOD saves for civilian employers who have displayed their patriotism through their support of employees serving in the National Guard and the National Reserve. It's awarded by the DOD's Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve agency, and in April 2012, Holiday Systems International became one of only 16 Nevada companies nominated for this highly regarded honor.

It's not easy to employ a member of the National Guard or the National Reserve. You must operate your business knowing it could be disrupted at any time should your country have need for that employee. You must make sacrifices, encouraging other employees to work extra hours to cover the shifts of employees pursuing their military training. Approximately one million Americans serve in the National Guard and the National Reserve. That's nearly 50 percent of all Americans who serve in the military.

The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) was first established as a separate agency within the Department of Defense 40 years ago. In addition to the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award for which Holiday Systems International was nominated, ESGR sponsors three other awards:

• The Patriot Award honors workplace supervisors for support of Guard and Reserve members. Candidates for this award must be nominated by member of the Guard or Reserve or by one of his or her family members.

• The Above and Beyond Award recognizes state level employers who've demonstrated strong support for the Uniformed Service Employment and Reemployment Rights Act. Candidates for this award are nominated by ESGR field representatives.

• The Pro Patria Award honors leadership and personnel policies within businesses that give additional support to Guard and Reserve members that exceed regulatory stipulations.

In addition to honoring employers, ESGR also operates ombudsman services to help mediate workplace disagreements in situations where military obligations put Guards and Reservists at odds with the responsibilities of their civilian workplaces. In 2008, ESGR ombudsmen mediated over 2,600 cases and achieved resolution in over 70 percent of them.

Enjoying HSI Vacations in Sunny Aruba

With 80 degree temperatures all year long, it's no wonder that Aruba is one of the most popular modern vacation destinations in the world. Although the island is small, it's nonetheless one of the top spots for HSI vacations. Naturally, the fact that HSI makes it so easy to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Caribbean makes it a perfect option for travelers.

Aruba is known for beautiful beaches and coral formations that are extremely uncommon in this area. While some formations have collapsed over time, there are still many open to tourism, like the beautiful coral cliffs at Frenchman's pass. As for the beaches, the waters are clear turquoise and the sands are white, so beach goers are usually quite pleased by what they find when they visit. Many vacationers simply stick to the seashore for the entire duration of their stay.

Of course, there's plenty to do inland as well. Aruba is one of the many islands in the world formed by volcanic interactions. Although there are no active hotspots, they've nonetheless left plenty of beautiful remnants behind. The Natural Pool, or Cura di Tortuga, for instance, is a popular destination for tourists who want to take a swim in a tiny volcanic crater. Unlike other Aruban destinations, it's only accessible by horseback, on foot, or by a 4x4 vehicle, meaning that it's a great spot for seclusion.

Other popular, quiet destinations include Bubali Bird Sanctuary. Bubali is home to over 80 species of migratory birds, including cormorants, herons, and egrets. The local observation tower makes it easy to immerse yourself in the surroundings without disturbing the natural spectacle unfolding all around you.
The fact that Aruba receives many more visitors than it has citizens each year can be attributed to their commitment to making tourists happy. The unique, dry climate of this Caribbean gem and perfect HSI vacations that take adventurers to all the hidden spot - mean that enjoying this island is as easy as booking your trip.

The Success of Holiday Systems International Begins with Its Leader

Craig Morganson, the founder and CEO of Holiday Systems International, has managed to take an elite travel and tourism trade by storm with his unique and dynamic brand, soaring fast forward into the future with no signs of slowing down. Founded in 1993, HSI is a leader in the travel industry and has consistently managed to provide its private clients with great value and the sophistication they seek in every aspect of leisure travel.

Morganson is a well-established and trusted leader in the industry, and as a result, he has spoken at many events, including the annual 2011 Canadian Resort Development Association (CRDA) convention. He not only helped to educate other experts in the travel and resort industry but also developed new liaisons and reconnected with many individuals HSI has had long standing relationships with in the Canadian travel industry.

Morganson is also a trustee of the American Resort Development Association. His expertise in the travel industry has allowed him to grow Holiday Systems International and encourage continuing education within the industry itself. Because of this desire to improve the entire travel industry, HSI often sponsors events to help educate travel professionals, which is why Morganson was delighted to speak at the annual CRDA convention as one of four invited travel industry experts His topic was on challenges and difficulties that the management of clubs and resorts commonly face. Participants remarked that his charisma and sense of humor helped to capture the attention of the audience, as he offered sustainable and real solutions that are applicable to any type of company.

As a top-of-the-line company in the vacation and travel industry, Holiday Systems International has managed to provide their clients with more of what they want such as profits, revenue, and value while also providing vacationers with an experience they will be talking about for years to come.

Craig Morganson and his staff are always working to develop improvements and new ideas to keep clients satisfied every step of the way. This commitment and innovation shows through in everything he does, and it is Morganson’s hope that through more events similar to the 2011 CRDA convention, he and his company will be able to raise the bar in the entire industry and help others to grow their travel businesses. Strong leadership is one of the biggest reasons why HSI comes very highly recommended.

Enjoying HSI Vacations in Beautiful New Orleans

One of the biggest surprises in store for visitors who travel to New Orleans for the first time is that it's almost like visiting an entirely different country. Although it's clearly part of the United States, the fact that the Big Easy has developed its own distinct cultural traditions and values over the past few hundred years makes it a destination unlike any other.

Fortunately, HSI vacations make it easy to get your bearings in the midst of all the new things nearby. People love to take in the street festivals, and you can count on hearing the Jazz music being played as you walk through the bustling city streets. In New Orleans, the commonplace takes on an attitude of its own, and travelers who book the right vacation packages can see it all.

Unbeknownst to many, New Orleans is home to more than just some of the greatest party scenes on the North American continent. Although great music and festival traditions are clearly in abundance, people who don't look carefully might miss some of the other ways the arts have affected the local culture. Mardi Gras isn't the only occasion to get out in the streets and dance; there are many other music festivals playing host to native jazz performers as well as international artists spanning nearly every genre. In addition, abundant art museums, a NASA rocket factory, and a former branch of the US Mint all make for great stops during your next trip.

Of course, if you're not careful, you'll miss some of the great things to see, do, and eat in New Orleans. With HSI vacations, however, you'll find it extremely easy to take in every event on your list.
